Are you wondering if Practice Membership subscription is the right choice for you?

It's an important question to ask yourself before joining. Understanding the relevance of the membership benefits is crucial.

What is Quay Dental Membership?

Quay Dental Membership is a way to become a private patient at Quay Dental in the Isle of Man. By becoming a member, you gain access to a range of benefits through a monthly subscription.

What are the benefits of Quay Dental Membership?

The primary benefit is the focus on preventive care. Regular attendance by long-term members leads to healthier mouths, with issues being detected earlier, thus reducing the need for complex and costly treatments.

Membership includes the following benefits:

  • Annual comprehensive dental health assessment with monitoring of wear and tooth movement using our digital 3D scanner.

  • Member's price list, offering savings on the cost of treatments.

  • Priority access to treatment times.

  • Access to our out of hours emergency services.

  • Coverage from Practice Plan Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme*, which provides financial cover for dental trauma, emergency care outside of regular hours and when away from the Isle of Man, hospital cash benefit, and oral cancer benefit.

*Full details of the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme can be found here

We also offer a registration and maintenance option that allows you to spread the cost of your recommended hygiene maintenance program over monthly payments. With regular hygiene care, you will enjoy a healthier smile and improved overall health.

Do the Membership benefits start immediately upon joining?

You become eligible for the Membership benefits listed above after making your first subscription payment. Inclusive annual dental health assessments will be activated at the end of your first year of membership. Inclusive hygiene maintenance appointments will be activated after the equivalent number of months' payments as per your recommended maintenance program. For example, if your recommended program is to attend every six months, your inclusive hygiene maintenance appointments will activate after six subscription payments.

How much does Quay Dental Membership cost?

The registration option for Membership costs just £10 per month.

The cost of our Membership & Maintenance Program ranges from £14.50 to £33 per month, depending on the frequency of your recommended hygiene maintenance appointments.

There is also a one-off administration charge of £9.50 from our plan administrator, which will be collected with your first monthly payment.

Can I register my children?

Absolutely! It's important to establish good dental care from a young age. Children can register in the same way, and we also offer a dental health maintenance option for children up to 18 years old, costing £11 per month.

What are the alternatives to Membership?

If you're unsure whether the team at Quay Dental is the best fit for your needs, we offer a Guest option. This allows you to access our services during normal opening hours, subject to appointment availability.

We also understand that not everyone prioritises dental health or is willing to commit to regular appointments or our recommended home care program. In such cases, Membership might not be the best option.

I have a Dental Plan through my workplace. Can I still register as a private patient with Quay Dental?

Absolutely! You can register with Quay Dental. We recommend the Membership-only option, and you will be able to claim for treatments from your corporate plan provider. We also offer additional benefits for corporate clients with BUPA Dental Plan, BUPA Choice, Cigna DentaCare Plan, or Cigna OralHealth Plan.

How do I register as a private patient with Quay Dental in the Isle of Man?

Registering for membership is a simple process. You can set it up with one of our care coordinating team members or complete it online using a unique login code we provide.

Payments are collected via Direct Debit on the 8th of each month.
