Your Dental Health Assessment
For patients joining Quay Dental for ongoing care, the first clinical step is usually a comprehensive Dental Health Assessment.
This gives us time to get to know you, understand your dental history, assess your mouth properly and talk through your options clearly.
Your visit is designed to feel calm, thorough and unhurried.
We'll start by getting to know you, your dental history, your concerns and what you would like from your care.
Your dentist will then carry out a detailed assessment of your teeth, gums, bite, existing dental work and the soft tissues of your mouth, including a routine mouth cancer check. Where appropriate, we may also take digital scans, photographs or x-rays to help us understand your mouth properly.
After the assessment, we'll explain what we have found in clear language and talk through your options.
