Join a team that believes in doing dentistry differently.
Clinic Manager
You'll lead the team that makes exceptional care possible

We're looking for a calm, organised, and people-first Clinic Manager to join Quay Dental - a fully private, digital dental practice in the heart of Douglas.

This is a key leadership role that's all about creating the conditions for great care - by supporting the people who deliver it. You'll oversea operations, guide our team, and lead our compliance programme, all while championing a positive, high performing environment.

You don't need to come from a dental or healthcare background. If you've led people, managed systems, and care about building strong, supportive teams - we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll be doing
As Clinic Manager, you'll be the anchor of our daily operations and the connective thread across our team. Your role will focus on:
-
Keeping the clinic running smoothly and efficiently
-
Supporting team scheduling, wellbeing, and communication
-
Leading compliance across clinical and operational standards
-
Managing systems and performance in partnership with our Clinical Director
-
Helping shape and maintain a team-first, patient-focussed culture
You'll thrive in this role if you...
-
Have experience managing teams or operations (any industry)
-
Stay calm, proactive, and solutions-focussed under pressure
-
Communicate clearly and connect easily with different people
-
Are confident learning compliance standards and digital systems
-
Enjoy improving workflows and supporting others to succeed
-
Take pride in creating a well-run, trusted environment

Key responsibilities
People & team culture
-
Oversea team scheduling, absences, and daily coordination
-
Support staff onboarding, training records, and development reviews
-
Lead with empathy and encourage open, constructive communication

Clinic operations
-
Manage daily patient flow, appointment planning, and supplies
-
Liaise with suppliers, insurers, and service providers
-
Coordinate building maintenance, security, and IT systems

Compliance Leadership
-
Ensure protocols, risk assessments, and policies are current
-
Oversee clinical compliance (CQC, HTM 01-05, GDC, safeguarding, etc.)
-
Maintain training records for CPR, medical emergencies, and more
-
Document and respond to any patient complaints or incidents

Digital & practice support
-
Use practice management software confidently
-
Help troubleshoot systems and support digital operations
-
Collaborate with marketing to keep internal messaging aligned
